Junior Frontend Engineer – Internship

Description We are seeking a motivated Junior Frontend Engineer with a passion for building intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces. You will work closely with our design and product teams to implement features using React web applications, React Native and Flutter mobile applications. The role requires a passion and ability for creating intuitive, scalable frontend solutions that handle complex data workflows, real-time synchronization, offline capabilities, and advanced data visualizations while maintaining excellent user experience across diverse healthcare and development contexts.

• Develop and maintain frontend components using React, React Native and Flutter
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional and polished applications
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers, with special attention to mobile-first design for field data collection
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices from Senior Engineers
• Integrate with RESTful APIs to deliver dynamic, data-driven interfaces
• Test and debug frontend applications across browsers and devices

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1-3 years experience frontend development experience
• Basic understanding of React.js, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with React Native and/or Flutter for mobile development
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with RESTful API integration
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright)
