- This position is hybrid. One-to-two days will be onsite at one of the following locations – Washington, DC (Met Square), Columbia, MD (Merriweather), or Baltimore, MD (Canton neighborhood). This would be the selected candidates choice.
- Work with a leading healthcare organization as a Senior Software Engineer focused on FEP (Federal Employee Program) claim data processing systems. You will join a dynamic systems engineering team responsible for designing, coding, and testing high-quality Salesforce applications. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive developer to work in an environment that is aggressively adopting AI technologies like Agentforce and Data Cloud to redefine the development lifecycle.

- Develop and enhance Salesforce applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex Classes, Triggers, and Flows.
- Lead the full development life cycle, including coding, code reviews, and deployment to upper environments.
- Perform system analysis and design to implement requirements for both new and existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with BA and QA teams in an Agile pattern to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Integrate Salesforce with external/internal systems using REST APIs.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and AI features to continuously improve system performance.
- 5+ years of professional experience in building, deploying, and supporting Salesforce applications.
- Proven, hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex (Triggers/Classes), and Flow.
- Strong experience in REST APIs for system integrations.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns and Salesforce data modeling.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Git/SVN.
- Must reside in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area and be able to commute onsite 1-2 times per week.
- Experience with Agentforce, Data Cloud, or Agentforce DX ("vibe coding").
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Copado.
- Previous experience in the healthcare or health insurance industry.
- Experience in a call center setup within Salesforce.
- Knowledge of multi-cloud architectures and AWS cloud development.
