Senior Golang Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to support the development and modernization of critical healthcare systems. This role will focus on building and integrating backend services in a highly regulated environment, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and data integrity. The ideal candidate brings strong Golang and MS SQL expertise, along with the ability to guide teams and adapt to evolving business and regulatory needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang in a production environment.
• Write, optimize, and debug complex MS SQL Server components, including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
• Build and maintain integrations between internal and external systems using Golang and MS SQL.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, supporting best practices and consistent delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards.
• Adapt to changing requirements and priorities within a regulated healthcare setting.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing applications in Golang.
• 3+ years of strong experience with MS SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL development and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience integrating systems and building data connections using Golang and MS SQL.
• Demonstrated experience guiding or leading engineering teams.
• Flexible, adaptive, and comfortable working in complex, regulated environments.
• Must be based in the U.S. This position requires U.S. work authorization; only U.S. citizens or permanent residents will be considered.

• Experience with Java, particularly in enterprise or legacy systems.
• Exposure to AI-enabled solutions or data-driven systems.
• UI or frontend development experience.

This role is a contractor position, but may lead to full-time employment with this organization at a later date.
