Mobile Application Developer - Federal Government Project

Position Summary : We are seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. This role involves developing mobile app features, implementing user interfaces, and integrating backend services while ensuring compliance with industry standards for security, performance, and app store guidelines. The developer will work with modern mobile frameworks, cloud services, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality mobile solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Design and implement mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Develop and maintain mobile app features using native and/or cross‑platform frameworks.
• Build and optimize mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, Java, and/or Flutter/React Native.
• Work with solution architects to define and maintain app architecture and design patterns.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption for scalability.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and implement continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, Graph
  
  QL, and third‑party SDKs for enhanced functionality.
• Implement mobile security best practices, data encryption, and ensure compliance with app store guidelines (Apple App Store, Google Play Store).
• Enable analytics and monitoring using tools like Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
• Apply security and compliance standards (OWASP Mobile, GDPR/CCPA, SOC
  2).

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in mobile application development for Android and iOS.
• Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin/Java with experience in mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture).
• Hands‑on experience with iOS and Android platforms (experience with both required).
• Experience with cloud services integration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• 2–3 years of experience integrating backend APIs and managing app data persistence.

Desired Skills :

• Experience with cross‑platform frameworks(Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin).
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Bitwise).
• Experience with app analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (Firebase, Catalytic, App Center).
• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (XC Test, Espresso, Jest).
• Knowledge of mobile security practices, including biometric authentication, secure storage, and encryption.
• Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and in‑app messaging.
• Understanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) and app release management.
