Python Developer

This role is a backend or full stack development role requiring professional experience with Python AND Django.

Source Factor's client is a Washington, DC area based company in the SaaS space, focused on smart building analytics. They are a small, growing company with large enterprise customers. They have a small team of developers and are looking to add a full stack or back end focused Python developer to the team. It's critical that this individual has experience with Django.

The ideal candidate for this role has the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM degree with CS coursework
• 1+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working with Python and Django
• Internships, if long and highly relevant will also be considered under certain circumstances

The role is hybrid, with the expectation of 3 days per week in-office.

The opportunity is full stack, but the most critical experience is the back end and Django. So it's a good opportunity to gain front end experience if someone has only been working on the back end. Also, if someone has strong Django experience and prefers working only on the back end, that can probably be accommodated. There are also plans to lean further into AI in the product this year, so someone with an interest in learning or leveraging AI skills would be a great fit.
