Application Services - Applications Developer
Salary: 138k-150k
Location:
Washington DC
Position: – Application Services – Applications Developer.
The successful developer will be supporting a wide variety of applications on behalf of the Sponsor. This individual will also be supporting ongoing O&M efforts and development of new applications/functionality as they arise. The developer will join a development team building web applications and web services that integrate heavily with enterprise RDBMS supporting personnel security business processes. There is an opportunity to work with a wide variety of contemporary technologies to solve an array of technical challenges.
MandatorySkills
- 16 years of full life‑cycle software development experience with the ability to define and design system architecture from complex user requirements, identify and mitigate technical risk, troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems.
- 10 years of design and implementation of web applications using Java and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Experience creating web services with REST interfaces.
- Experience writing database queries and procedures with SQL or PL/SQL.
- Experience integrating databases with an ORM Framework.
- Experience translating customer and system requirements into web services or applications.
- Experience writing unit tests with JUnit.
- Experience with XML and HTML
5. - Experience with C++.
- Experience with version control systems GIT or SVN (preferably GIT).
- Experience configuring Apache Tomcat.
- Experience with corporate Linux infrastructure.
- Experience with CSS.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience with Cocoon.
- Experience with YUI.
- Experience with the Agile development methodology.
- Experience with builds and deployments using Apache Maven.
- Experience transitioning existing enterprise applications to the C2S Cloud.

Full-time - Certification Requirements:
Desired – Certified Cloudera Developer;
Desired – Certified Solutions Architect. - Schedule:
