As an AI software engineer, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface and data. Today, you need to develop user-focused solutions that increase organizational efficiency and enable better decision-making. Booz Allen is the leading provider of AI services to the nation—we’re looking for a software engineer like you to create artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions that help solve industry and clients' toughest problems.

You’ll work closely with your client to understand their questions and needs, then collaborate with subject matter experts and an elite group of fellow engineers to deliver impactful solutions to the client.

• 1+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods in academic or internship environments
• 1+ years of experience with software development with programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks, such as Python or Scala in academic or internship environments
• Experience with object-oriented programming, API development, and Postgre
  
  SQL databases
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning models
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring or Summer 2026

• Experience with the administration of continuous integration or continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Kubernetes, Docker, or Jenkins
• Knowledge of acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
