Working Model: Full time, Hybrid (2 days on-site)

We're supporting a space software company that is scaling quickly and pushing the boundaries of what modern mission operations can look like. Their engineers are building high performance systems for modeling, planning, and operating satellites, and they are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of complex backend challenges that directly shape how missions run.

• Python focused backend development with some Java
• Modeling and simulation of complex systems
• Mission planning and algorithm development
• API services and distributed systems
• Cloud native infrastructure across AWS, containers, and Kubernetes

• Experience with modeling, simulation, or complex algorithms
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and distributed systems
• Comfortable working across cloud infrastructure
• US Citizenship, and must meet ITAR requirements
• Experience in the space industry and scaling team/start-ups is highly preferred
