CGS is seeking a Java developer/programmer to join a team working on the enhancement of data utilization for a large, state-run project. The developer will aggregate data from several existing sources and prepare plans to collect, process, store, and report on this data.

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs.
• Provide work estimates to project manager and track progress against project work plan.
• Transform software designs and specifications into high-functioning code, focusing on Java Server Faces framework and web applications.
• Integrate individual software solutions into higher level systems.
• Use web-based tools to create and advance applications and test code periodically.

• Three (3) Years of experience developing Java web applications using the Java Server Faces Framework.
• Five (5) Years of experience in Java web application user interface design and implementation including HTML, CSS, and Java script.
• Three (3) Years of experience integrating Java web applications with SQL databases using Hibernate.
• Three (3) Years of SQL relational database design and coding experience.
• Five (5) Years of experience developing software both independently and in a team environment.
• Superior organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize multiple projects.
