Ana Vation is seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Developer to join a team developing a secure, full‑stack web application to deliver solutions and analytics for a sensitive, high‑profile program. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and other developers to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet mission‑critical objectives.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full‑stack web applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to decompose epics into actionable Agile stories and tasks under the SAFe methodology.
• Develop responsive, component‑driven UIs using tools such as Angular, React, Next.js, Storybook, and Jest.
• Develop, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.

This position requires a Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. It is on‑site in Washington DC with no remote option.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience developing, testing, and deploying back‑end software in a widely used programming language such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, Type Script, or .NET.
• Experience developing Java software using the latest Java Development Kit versions.
• Experience implementing and using back‑end frameworks such as Java Spring, Node.js, Go Gin, Angular
  
  JS, React, NextJS, NestJS, and related Java frameworks.
• Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including Agile development.
• Experience with software design patterns and antipatterns.
• Experience with development tools (git, IDEs, code quality tools, etc.).
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Cloud certification.
