VMG is seeking experienced Hydronic Pipe fitters to support commercial and industrial projects across the DMV region. This role focuses on the installation, modification, and maintenance of hydronic piping systems, including heating and cooling water systems, boilers, pumps, and related mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, takes pride in craftsmanship, and can work independently or as part of a team.

• Install, assemble, and maintain hydronic piping systems (steel, copper, stainless, PEX)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Install pumps, valves, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, and hydronic accessories
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, grooving, brazing, soldering, and welding as required
• Conduct pressure testing and assist with system flushing and start-up
• Coordinate with supervisors, foremen, and other trades on active job sites
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards

• 3+ years of experience as a Pipefitter with a focus on hydronic systems
• Strong knowledge of commercial hydronic heating and cooling systems
• Ability to read blueprints and isometric drawings
• Experience with welded and mechanical piping systems
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various job site conditions

• Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Boiler room and mechanical room installation experience

• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
• Opportunity to work on Prevailing Wage projects, which, when available, may offer hourly rates ranging from $60–$75 per hour, depending on project location and classification. Prevailing Wage work is project-dependent and not guaranteed for all assignments.
