We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries operate at peak performance. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment on our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support our culinary team's seamless operation.

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
- Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issues
- Refrigeration:
Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines - Cooking Equipment:
Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets - Ventilation & HVAC:
Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems - Dishwashing & Sanitation:
High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems
Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

Minimum Requirements- CFC Universal Certification
- EPA 608 certification
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Minimum 3 years of experience in:
- Commercial kitchen equipment service and repair
- Installation and service of refrigeration systems
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Gas-fired equipment and piping systems
