Job Description

BGIS is currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Install Manager to join the team in Washington, D.C. (Remote).

The Commercial HVAC Installation Manager leads the installation team to complete projects at client sites in multiple states. The position ensures work is completed in a safe manner following all policies and regulations with environmental impact considerations. Key objectives include tracking timely completion of commercial projects to BGIS standards, providing training and consultation to installers internally, and communicating externally to clients.

• HVAC Installation Team Management
• Manage all activities related to installations for commercial clients
• Lead installations team members to ensure smooth project execution including scheduling, resource allocation, materials procurement, and quality work
• Monitor progress of projects, identify potential issues, and recommend solutions
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and field technicians
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and customer service
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor, and manage a team of skilled HVAC professionals, ensuring appropriate skills
• Communicate BGIS and client processes/procedures and regulatory safety, health and environment requirements, ensuring compliance and proper PPE use
• Set annual goals, conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development
• Identify opportunities for improvements in installation processes to increase efficiency
• Contribute to other key initiatives as assigned

• Represent BGIS professionally in forming and building customer relationships
• Establish collaborative communications with internal customers/support teams and external clients/vendors
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in team work
• Perform quality control checks on all installs managed
• Resolve client concerns, engaging additional organizational leadership as needed
• Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, and prepare materials for meetings and presentations
• Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and efficiency
