Part Time Master Electrician; DOE-F

Job Summary
EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Part‑time Master Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The journeyman electrician must have or be able to obtain an L‑secret level clearance.

Schedule:

Wednesday – Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. The position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

• Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install and maintain
• Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switch gear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
• Perform inspections
• Supervise subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot

• Must have a current Master Electrician License (DC or MD)
• Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician
• Must have a general knowledge of motors, switch gear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Must have troubleshooting skill.
• Must be able to work the schedule of Wednesday – Friday, 3 pm – 11 pm
