Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician

This position requires the ability to service, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis and to be available for on-call rotation.

• Conduct service calls, performing onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customers' fire sprinkler systems, identifying code and non-conformance issues.
• Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections.
• Willing to become or currently NICET certified in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems.
• Perform Fire Pump Flow Tests (preferred, but not required).
• Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports.
• Communicate with customers to explain the work being performed and any necessary repairs.

• A current valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points.
• At least three years of licensed driving experience.
• Two or more years inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes.
• Comfortable working on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work overhead or in small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Well organized with the ability to maintain service tickets and required documentation for each service performed.
