We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter / Wallpaper Hanger / Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can handle a variety of finishes and light carpentry tasks. This role involves working on interior (and occasional exterior) projects to maintain and improve the appearance and functionality of properties.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting, wallpapering, or finishing (patching, sanding, priming, caulking)
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Measure, cut, install, and remove wallpaper accurately and cleanly
- Perform light to moderate carpentry work (trim, baseboards, doors, framing, repairs)
- Repair drywall, wood, and other surfaces as needed
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Use tools and materials safely and properly
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
- Complete projects on schedule while maintaining high quality standards
- Proven experience in painting, wallpaper hanging, and carpentry
- Knowledge of surface preparation, finishes, and materials
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders or scaffolding
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality environments
- Ability to match textures, colors, and finishes
- Basic knowledge of drywall and minor repairs
- Basic wallpaper hanging knowledge
