About the Role
Complete Building Services is looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to assist the Chief Engineer at a large facility in NW Washington. Strong commercial building knowledge is required. A typical day consists of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on the following: cooling towers, pumps, hot water heaters, sprinklers, generators, AC units along with other tasks as assigned.
HoursMon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis
- Conduct daily building/equipment tours
- Assist Chief Engineer as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Salary $27.00
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Driver's License
- 2-5 years' experience in commercial building
- Basic building knowledge in electrical, HVAC and plumbing
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance on various types of equipment (see above)
- Must be dependable and reliable
- NAPE classes or equivalent preferred
