Service Technician – Electronic Security Systems

Location: Washington, DC (Fairchild Building)

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, Nights 8:00 PM–6:30 AM (10-hour shifts)

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to support critical security operations for the U.S. Capitol Police. This role is based out of the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC and operates on a four-day night shift schedule.

We’re looking for a technician with strong hands-on experience in electronic security systems
, particularly in servicing and troubleshooting access control and related hardware.

• Service, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic security systems
• Work with access control components including:
  • Card readers
  • Reader modules
  • Main control panels
  • Electronic locks
  • Door monitoring devices
  • Power supplies
• Support and maintain basic CCTV systems
• Utilize computer skills for system diagnostics, updates, and reporting
• Collaborate with security and law enforcement personnel to ensure system reliability
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of service activities

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting electronic security systems
• Strong understanding of access control hardware and system architecture
• Familiarity with basic CCTV systems
• Solid computer proficiency
• Experience with Software House / CCURE systems is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
