Part Time Master Electrician; DOE-F

Job Summary:

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Part‑time Master Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain an L secret level Clearance for this role. The schedule is Wednesday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Pay Range: $48.81/hr (Base pay range $48.81/hr – $48.81/hr). Other Compensation: none. Benefits:
Health and Welfare Benefits consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Perform all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain
• Inspect, maintain, clean, repair, test and adjust a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switch gear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
• Perform inspections.
• Supervise subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot.

• Must have a current Master Electrician License (DC or MD).
• Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician.
• Must have a general knowledge of motors, switch gear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Must have troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work the schedule of Wednesday – Friday 3pm – 11pm.
