Job OverviewThe Crane Operator II is responsible for operating a mobile crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. The role involves unloading crane accessories, following safety procedures, conducting equipment inspections, and working in outdoor environments, often in Caroline County, Virginia, with travel to various job sites.
Responsibilities- High school diploma or GED with 1-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards related to crane operations.
- Ability to pass drug tests and background checks.
- Proficiency in English (reading and speaking).
- Willingness to travel, often for up to a week.
- Physical ability to lift heavy weights, work at heights, and perform physical tasks.
- CDL Class A license, NCCCO, TSS, TLL certifications (LBC helpful but not required).
- Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge.
- Pay range: $35 - $42 per hour.
- Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401k, military reserve pay offset, and paid maternity leave.
