Job DescriptionWe are currently looking to hire a Vendor Security Agent to join our team, embedded with our client in Washington, DC! This position requires working onsite with our client in Washington, DC.
Full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with possible weekend shifts, depending on construction schedule.
Responsibilities- Verify construction vendors have approved access, required documentation, and signed NDAs prior to entry
- Check construction personnel in and out using the Envoy application on a dedicated iPad
- Print and issue temporary barcode s as part of the check-in process
- Monitor and control vendor entry and exit points during construction activities
- Escort vendors and contractors while on site and enforce security and safety rules
- Maintain accountability of vendor personnel, tools, equipment, and materials on site
- Protect property, facilities, and restricted or sensitive areas during active construction
- Document vendor activity, equipment movement, and security incidents accurately
- Respond to and escort unauthorized access, policy violations, or security incidents
- 3+ years of residential, estate, or protective security experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with cameras, alarms, access control, and smart-home systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in the Washington, D.C., climate.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
- Military or police experience
