Senior Inspector; Cyber

Overview

Amentum is seeking a Senior Inspector (Cyber) to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C. area.

• Ensure proper documentation of interview results for inspection reports, identifying potentially controversial findings, issues, or problems with widespread impacts; identify sources of concern, issues, problems, complaints, or concepts associated with missions and program functions.
• Member of the Counterintelligence Inspections Program team.
• Work independently or within a team.
• Respond to specific tasks driven by IN mission requirements.
• Conduct professional interviews and document findings to assess and integrate the implications of data for the inspections being conducted.
• Experience conducting oversight of the Intelligence Community or DoD Apparatus, or ability to learn.
• Prioritize and schedule own work activities to complete assignments in a timely and effective manner. Coordinate and assist in obtaining information from a variety of sources, compile statistical data, prepare subpoenas, transcribe and edit technical and confidential investigative memoranda or reports, cross reference, assist with interview preparation, provide a variety of clerical and technical services in support of more complex inspections work, and assist during interviews.
• Conduct research of laws, regulations, policies, and databases, and assist Lead inspector investigators in making requests for information.
• Takes initiative to anticipate issues, resolve conflicts among multiple priorities, and implement effective solutions to prevent problems that might impact timelines and deliverables.

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. An advanced degree in a business discipline is desirable.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in conducting complex CI program activities in the CI functional area of Cyber CI and/or inspections with a federal agency such as the DOE, FBI, CIA or DOD.
• Experience in conducting interviews, and research.
• Ability to construct a net worth profile on selected individuals as selected by DOE management.
• Knowledge of the requirements for developing a CI program.
• Ability to conduct professional interviews of DOE employees and assess/integrate the implications of data for the inspections being conducted.

$146,000-$190,000

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
