đJoin JRC's Security Team as Facilities Security Officer! Weâre have an immediate opening for a Facilities Security Officer (FSO) to lead security operations for our cleared facilities. In this critical role, youâll ensure compliance with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), DoD directives, and Intelligence Community guidelines while managing facility clearances, personnel security, physical safeguards, and classified information. As part of a growing defense organization, youâll play a key role in protecting national security and enabling mission success.
đŒWhat Youâll Do Security Program Management - Develop and maintain security plans, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to NISPOM and contract-specific requirements.
- Conduct audits, self-inspections, and support DCSA reviews.
- Investigate security incidents and recommend corrective actions. Personnel Security & Access Control - Manage clearances, briefings, and indoctrinations using DISS.
- Process access requests and maintain personnel security records.
- Coordinate visit requests and enforce need-to-know principles.
- Deliver security training and awareness programs. Classified Information Handling - Control, transmit, store, and destroy classified materials per regulations.
- Maintain accountability records and conduct annual inventories. Physical Security & Facility Management - Oversee access controls, IDS, CCTV, and perimeter safeguards.
- Manage Facility Clearance (FCL) processes and physical security plans.
- Coordinate secure spaces, SCIF operations, and emergency plans. Additional Responsibilities - Support insider threat programs and federal investigations.
- Ensure compliance with TCPs, Export Control, and FOCI mitigations.
- Stay current on security threats and best practices.
Travel:
Some travel required. đ§ What You Bring
A bachelorâs degree in security management or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years in industrial security, including 3+ years as an FSO.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Strong knowledge of NISPOM, DoD directives, ICD 705.
Proficiency with DISS, SWFT, NBIS.
Excellent organizational and communication skills. âBonus Points
ISP, CPP, or FSO or similar certifications.
Experience in defense contracting (maritime or unmanned systems).
Familiarity with UL 2050 standards and insider threat programs.
Graduate degree in a related field.
