Inter-Con is searching for motivated individuals to fill the exciting role of an Unarmed Security Officer. In this role, you'll work as a galvanized member of an elite team of security operators protecting some of our nation's most critical assets.

• Be a Citizen of the United States
• Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License
• Be a minimum of 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed)
• Associate degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, or successful completion of a police officer's basic training academy preferred

• Competitive pay starting at $25.50 an hour + $5.18 for H&W

Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors. Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.

• Access Control
• Processing visitors for entry into a facility
• Conducting inspections and screenings
• Patrol and responding to calls

• Monitoring and operating security and safety systems
• Reporting incidents and writing reports of the incidents
