Shift Supervisor
Typical Duties
- Supervise SPOs and serve as lead.
- Operate and enforce a system of personnel identification/access/inspection procedures.
- Provide escort for armed law enforcement officers entering the building, as directed, and other visitors as directed by the COR.
- Make patrols according to routes and schedules specified in the Special Police Officers' post orders.
- Direct traffic (vehicle and pedestrian) on property, control parking, and issue citations.
- Distribute keys when required or directed by the COR or his/her designee.
- Respond to (when required), and mitigate the cause of the alarm with the assistance of the SOC.
- Observe building occupants and visitors for compliance with posted rules and regulations.
