Overview

Position Overview We are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Commercial Truck Sales Professional to join our growing dealership team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, expanding relationships with existing accounts, and delivering exceptional service to meet the transportation needs of commercial, municipal, and fleet clients.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong industry knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to close sales. You will represent our brand with professionalism and integrity, helping clients find the right truck and equipment solutions for their business success.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new commercial sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations that address customer needs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts that meet dealership profitability goals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for new and used commercial trucks.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial accounts, municipalities, and fleet operators.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring prompt and professional service.
  • Conduct follow-up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and identify future business opportunities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership’s truck inventory, including specifications, capabilities, and availability.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive offerings, and new product developments.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on truck configurations, financing options, and after-sales services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in finance, marketing, service, and logistics to deliver seamless transactions.
  • Ensure all sales documentation, pre-billing, and invoicing are accurate and completed on time.
  • Participate in dealership events, trade shows, and community outreach activities to promote the brand and build market presence.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required;
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial truck sales, fleet sales, or a related B2B sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
