Green Sky is seeking a Senior Account Executive (SAE) in the Northeast. The SAE will actively drive the prospecting and sales growth for Green Sky consumer financing within the Home Improvement vertical. A primary focus for this role will be to target and secure partnerships with Enterprise Home Improvement Merchants ($5+ million annual sales revenue).
LocationRemote, but candidates must live in Northeastern US (preferably near a major travel hub) for consideration.
Travel Required50% travel for face‑to‑face time with prospects. Overnight travel as needed.
ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an individual who has high energy, a will to win, and a tenacious work ethic to succeed. This is a territory‑based, acquisition focused position, with unlimited opportunity given the right amount of focus, hard work and determination. This individual will also be responsible for nurturing and growing the business following the sale.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful experience and high‑level contacts with key industry verticals in the home improvement space.
Requirements- 5+ years B2B sales experience; preferably within the financing, payments, or Home Improvement space.
- Experience leading web‑based and in‑person client presentations, meetings, and training sessions.
- Proven track record of:
- New Business Development:
Identifies and pursues new opportunities to expand the customer base. - Manage a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and oversee the full sales cycle—from initial engagement through close—to ensure consistent revenue growth.
- Leverage strong command skills to facilitate training sessions for groups of sales professionals, demonstrating how to effectively utilize our product to enhance their sales performance and drive measurable results.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships at industry events to generate net‑new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Understanding client objectives and delivering tailored products or services to drive mutual growth through proper discovery.
- Extensive travel required (up to 50% of the time face‑to‑face with prospects and overnight travel as needed).
- Self‑starter who deals well with ambiguity and thrives on the hunt for the deal.
- Strong written and verbal skills; public speaking experience.
- Excellent presentation skills and questioning capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce as well as Zoom, Go To Meeting or similar on‑line web‑conference software, PowerPoint, Tableau, and Workday Expense Reporting.
- Experience in financial services or Home Improvements preferred.
Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this role ranges from $80,000 per year to $90,000 per year + monthly commission (no cap). Compensation will be determined by several factors, including relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible to receive a full suite of medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid personal/sick time.
