About the RoleBausch + Lomb is seeking a high-performing Vision Territory Manager (VTM) to partner with independent and retail‑affiliated Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) within the designated territory. The VTM will drive growth by delivering patient‑ and practice‑focused solutions through our industry‑leading contact‑lens portfolio, including ULTRA®, Biotrue® ONEday, INFUSE®, Bausch + Lomb INFUSE® Multifocal, and our e‑commerce platform, B+L Opal.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Meet/exceed the territory sales quota and key execution metrics established by sales leadership.
- Execute effective sales calls to ECPs within the territory, using marketing materials and selling techniques to increase share of Bausch + Lomb contact‑lens prescriptions and lens‑care recommendations.
- Develop account business plans for high‑volume customers, creating sustainable growth trajectories while considering investment and financial impact for both customer and Bausch + Lomb.
- Execute an effective call‑cycle plan and formulate a strategic territory business plan to develop new customers and accelerate growth with existing customers.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical knowledge of all Bausch + Lomb Vision Care products as well as competitive products.
- Utilize CRM to maintain accurate customer information and account progress.
- Work alongside industry distributor partners to fulfill customer needs and align business strategies.
- Attend national and regional sales meetings and trade shows as needed.
- Coordinate ECP educational meetings in key markets.
- Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis (call logging, expense reports, etc.).
- Adhere to Adva Med Guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred; professional certification (COT and/or OSA) and/or ophthalmic experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience (eye‑health industry preferred) with a documented track record of goal attainment, awards, and formal recognition.
- Ability to identify and address customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and efficiently drive sales growth within assigned territories.
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to plan, prioritize, and manage customer accounts while handling administrative responsibilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, financial, and analytical skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, educate and influence customers.
- Remote field‑based position requiring 25% travel, including overnight travel; must reside within the territory or within reasonable distance of the territory workload center.
- Must be able to drive in a large geographical territory, lift up to 25 lb., travel by airplane and car within the U.S., stand for prolonged periods, and perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, or other CRM applications required;
Power BI experience preferred. - Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
