An equipment company is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative
based in Northwest Washington state
to grow new and used equipment sales within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering equipment solutions that support customers’ jobsite needs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new and used equipment sales within an assigned territory
• Prospect for new customers while maintaining relationships with existing accounts
• Educate customers through product presentations, demonstrations, and jobsite visits
• Prepare quotes, support negotiations, and guide customers through the sales process
• Collaborate with inside sales and service teams to ensure a strong customer experience
• Provide application and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales activity and pipeline

• 5+ years of outside sales experience in light construction or related equipment
• Strong understanding of equipment applications and jobsite environments
• Technically and mechanically inclined with problem-solving ability
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented
• Professional communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable traveling locally, working outdoors, and visiting active jobsites
• Ability to navigate jobsite terrain, lift up to 75 lbs, and work in varying conditions
• Willing to complete background check and pre-employment drug screening
