Overview

The Inside Sales Representative supports the sales team by managing inbound and outbound sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting in the transition of opportunities to outside sales. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales and account management skills who is motivated to grow into an outside sales position.

Marketing Support
  • Assist with Expo Shows, external and team building functions
Quoting & Administrative Support
  • Prepare and send service proposals, pricing quotes, and contract documentation
  • Coordinate with operations, service, and field technicians to confirm scope, timelines, and pricing
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and sales tracking systems
Collaboration with Outside Sales
  • Qualify leads and determine readiness for outside sales involvement
  • Transition high-potential opportunities to outside sales representatives
  • Support outside sales with follow-ups, documentation, and customer communication
Market & Product Knowledge
  • Develop a strong understanding of elevator systems, maintenance programs, repairs, and modernization options
  • Stay informed on company offerings, pricing structures, and service capabilities
  • Communicate value propositions clearly to customers
Growth & Development
  • Demonstrate motivation to progress into an outside sales role over time
  • Participate in sales training, ride-alongs, and product education
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and performance metrics
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in inside sales, account management, or customer-facing sales role
  • B2B sales experience preferred (construction, building services, or mechanical trades a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools
  • Interest in growing into an outside sales role
