Catapult Solutions Group is expanding our Federal Services Division, and we’re seeking an Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you’ll drive business growth by connecting federal-sector clients with top-tier talent across various industries. We’re looking for someone with previous staffing sales experience (federal sales strongly preferred) and a passion for building long-term client relationships.
Location Preference- Primary: Herndon, VA (and surrounding areas)
- Also considered: Boston, MA and Dallas, TX
- Build and maintain strong relationships with federal-sector clients
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
- Understand client requirements and deliver customized staffing solutions
- Manage and track sales activity using CRM/ATS tools
- Partner with recruiting/delivery teams to ensure successful placements
- Oversee client-specific processes:
Requisition intake & candidate feedback, onboarding coordination (background checks, documentation, equipment, start details), offboarding procedures, audits and compliance (e.g., markup regulations), client meetings and reporting - Stay informed on industry trends and federal market dynamics
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years staffing industry experience (required)
- Staffing sales experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, relationship building, and time‑management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM/ATS systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a desire to stay on top of industry trends
