Red River is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Commercial Account Executive to help organizations transform their IT environments. Responsibilities- Develop a competitive sales strategy.
- Manage a dedicated sales territory comprising medium to large enterprise accounts, with deep insight into industry trends for cloud computing, consumption models, and creative financing options.
- Develop and maintain a customer base.
- Promote Red River as a solutions and services provider.
- Drive revenue and margin through individual account base.
- Maintain technical acumen in networking or datacenter infrastructure.
- Keep knowledge up-to-date on new and existing products.
- Deep understanding of sales methodology in prospecting, pipeline, and forecasting.
- Candidate eager to understand customer pain points and develop solutions around their requirements.
- 1‑3 years of outside selling in the commercial IT market.
- Equivalent military training and experience.
- Knowledge of regional commercial and state, local, and education markets.
- Extensive relationships with relevant technology partners and customers.
- Proactive networking, prospecting, and selling to multiple contacts, including C‑levels.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Consistent and successful achievement of quota versus plan.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Significant incentive opportunities through successful revenue/margin attainment.
- Ability to operate remotely with 50% travel to customer and partner sites.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
