Location:
Bowie, MD
- In an assigned territory, partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office and Service Center Managers, sales colleagues, the parts team, and our technicians
- Focus on boiler sales opportunities, providing technical expertise and solutions to meet customer heating needs
- Meet sales goals through the development of existing customers and prospecting new business
- Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Daikin installed equipment database, industry sources, business directories, vertical market information, or any other lead generation source
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, build customer relationships, and follow up on customer concerns
- Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work and coordinate the preparation of cost estimates on project continuations; verify and quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
- Perform tests and conduct surveys on competitive products to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new products
- Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans
- Identify and implement tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (e.g. energy rebates, estimated payoffs, ROI)

- High school diploma or equivalent with HVAC certification and 5+ years of HVAC field service experience, or a bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, turnkey solutions, controls, and contracting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $71,200 - $113,900 in Washington. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
