Role and locationSenior Account Executive Regional Media is a sales role within Media & Entertainments sales efforts targeted at identified broadcast networks and broadcast groups. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales Media and works with the business unit team to execute and drive sales aligned with BU plans. They will have accountability for defined enterprise-level accounts sales.
Location: Chicago, Detroit, or Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities- Create account-specific strategies with new and existing targeted named accounts that maximize business potential in line with BU plans.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships, identify opportunities within named accounts, and sell the entire Diversified portfolio of applications and solutions.
- Close strategic deals, navigate client situations, and coordinate internal or third-party resources to ensure client success.
- Maintain sales standards with strong executive-level relationships within targeted customers and apply deep understanding of customer technology applications.
- Develop annual go-to-market sales plans and budgets with BU for assigned strategic accounts, including monthly and quarterly goals and forecasts.
- Identify and propose new enterprise customers that fit defined criteria to increase enterprise sales.
- Manage daily operational activities, collaborating with Technical Operations on proposal development and problem resolution.
- Maximize client satisfaction for enterprise accounts.
- Drive continual improvement, including cross-selling of other business units’ products and services.
- Meet or exceed top-line revenue and profitability targets for assigned M&E enterprise accounts.
- Work with vendors and the innovation team to stay current on industry technology and identify opportunities.
- Travel to customers to review and close opportunities and to project sites as required to ensure quality and build relationships.
- Use data analytics to course-correct quickly when there are coverage gaps.
- Collaborate with internal Diversified units and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders; build strategic alliances with core vendor partners.
- Partner with BU and People Team to advise on training to upgrade sales skillsets.
- Maintain and wear appropriate PPE as required by job tasks.
- Report incidents within 24 hours regardless of severity.
- Ensure hazards are addressed and rectified promptly.
- Promote and engage in a Safety Culture within the organization.
- Implement multiple account strategies with highest-level accounts, progressing opportunities through stages toward closure while maintaining strong relationship management.
- Remote office with significant travel expected.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
