Outbound Business Development Representative

Resonate is seeking an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to proactively generate new enterprise opportunities and expand our market presence.

We’re looking for smart, articulate, highly motivated inside sales experts who will help us achieve our revenue growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As an Outbound BDR, you’ll own top-of-funnel pipeline creation by targeting high-value accounts, engaging senior decision-makers, and sparking interest in Resonate’s data-driven solutions.

  • Execute outbound prospecting through cold calls, personalized emails, social selling, and account-based strategies
  • Research enterprise accounts to identify key stakeholders and business priorities
  • Develop tailored messaging aligned to industry, persona, and use case
Opportunity Creation
  • Book qualified meetings with enterprise prospects
  • Consistently meet or exceed outbound activity and pipeline generation targets
  • Position Resonate’s solutions against prospect pain points and competitive alternatives
Strategic Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing and Account Executives on vertical or account-based acquisition strategies
  • Share insights from the field to improve messaging, targeting, and playbooks
  • Stay current on industry trends, buyer challenges, and Resonate’s evolving offerings
Critical Success Factors
  • Strong research and account-mapping skills
  • Confident, persuasive communicator with resilience and grit
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum
  • Highly organized and goal-oriented in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or demand generation
  • Account development/inside sales experience in demand generation to a marketing/research/insights/intelligence/analytics audience - ideally for a software or SaaS company in the Mar Tech space
  • Proven track record of achieving (and, even better, exceeding) quota
  • Proficient at prospecting, list building, account researching tactics
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience in using , Rain King, Discover Org, Linked In Sales Navigator
  • Ability to understand and explain complex technology quickly and easily
  • Excellent at handling rejection, being able to pivot and transform conversations
  • Inquisitive, with excellent listening skills
  • A high level of personal drive and focus on objectives
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
