The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) sells, orders, and presents products, collaborates with customers, executes commercial plans, and merchandises products safely following quality guidelines.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manages sales on daily routes, generates orders, contributing to revenue, volume, gross profit.
- Executes promotions and new products using marketing plans for excellence in RED scores.
- Fills, merchandises, rotates products on display and shelf per procedures and programs.
- Maintains back room, stacks and arranges product parcels, returns pallets, shells, damaged and out‑of‑date product to branch.
- Creates and distributes point‑of‑sale materials, rotates product, merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, checks vendor operation.
- Fosters relationships with store personnel through follow‑up, proactive pricing, special, opportunities.
- Identifies and communicates competitive issues or market activities that could impact business (pricing, packaging, strategy changes) and works safely.
- Effective communication skills: listening, speaking, writing.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
- Willingness to work in fast‑paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
- Critical thinking skills.
- Secondary education beyond high school preferred.
- High initiative and willingness to learn.
- Career‑mindfulness and highly competitive nature.
- Valid in‑state driver's license.
- Excellent driving history.
- Proof of insurance policy verifying current coverage (500/50,000/50,000 or better).
- High school education / GED.
