Overview

Target is hiring for a Small Format Team Member (Part-time). The role involves delivering exceptional guest service, stocking, cashiering, and ensuring price accuracy and availability across store departments. Training is provided to help you develop relevant skills.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their needs and provide knowledgeable service about tools, products, and services.
• Support workload to meet business priorities and maintain a full, zoned, and in-stock sales floor.
• Assist with truck unloads, stock product, and adjust displays as needed.
• Conduct price changes, ensure signage accuracy, and complete inventory audits.
• Process inbound deliveries and maintain backroom organization and location accuracy.
• Operate powered equipment if certified and follow safety guidelines.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, pickup, and Drive-up while adhering to applicable laws.
• Attend to cleanliness, safety, and compliance throughout the store.
• Other duties as required by business needs.

• Comfort with a fast-paced, physically active environment; teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.

• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology as directed.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions promptly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks within time frames.
• Eligible to handle cash register operations; ability to climb ladders and lift up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule with reliable attendance; able to work in varying temperatures and conditions including Drive-Up and carryout.
• Maintain mobility for the duration of a shift.
