JARS Cannabis - Retail Representative (Washington, D.C.)
Location:
Washington, D.C.;
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour;

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Retail Representative who shares our passion for providing quality products and excellent customer care to the D.C. community. Reporting to the management team, you will be the face of JARS, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service and expert product knowledge.
Responsibilities- Customer Excellence:
Assess customer needs, provide appropriate product knowledge, and conduct transactions with accuracy. - Sales Strategy:
Utilize suggestive selling and upselling strategies to meet location goals. - Regulatory Compliance:
Follow all safety and ABCA (Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration) rules and policies. - Inventory & POS:
Assist with inventory tasks and record transactions accurately in the POS system. - Store Standards:
Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor; perform opening/closing duties as assigned. - Professionalism:
Maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times.
- Age:
Must be 21 years of age or older (Statutory requirement). - Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality. - Regulatory Status:
Must be eligible to obtain a D.C. Medical Cannabis Employee Registration, including a Certificate of Clean Hands (no debts over $1,000 to the District). - Skills:
Exceptional communication skills and basic math proficiency. - Availability:
Must be willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

All successful candidates must complete the D.C. Board-approved cannabis training program required for ABCA registration before their first day on the sales floor.
