This is a part-time, on-site role for a Line Cook based in Washington, DC. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking ingredients in line with TCG s high standards. Daily tasks include implementing recipes, maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety regulations, and collaborating with the kitchen team for smooth operations. The role involves maintaining the kitchen s efficiency and ensuring the consistent quality of food prepared for events and clients.
Qualifications- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a kitchen environment
- Ability to follow recipes, maintain portion control, and ensure quality and consistency in dishes prepared
- Knowledge and adherence to food safety practices, kitchen hygiene, and health regulations
- Teamwork, collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting
- Prior experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for events
- Certification in Safe Food Handling or Serv Safe is a plus
