Bar Back

Job Summary

Location:

Kennedy Center – 2700 F Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20566.

Schedule:

Full‑time and part‑time shifts. Hours and days may vary. Additional details will be discussed during the interview.

Requirement:
No experience required.

Fixed Pay Rate: $22.96 per hour.

• Retrieve all needed food items from the kitchen and deliver them to the bar area.
• Retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from storage areas and deliver them to the bar area.
• Set up bottles on the bar with top‑shelf liquor on the back shelf.
• Ensure beer taps are working properly.
• Place appropriate bar snacks on the counter; keep snacks and napkins stocked throughout the shift.
• Assist in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Buss tables in the bar area.
• Help keep the bar or lounge areas clean and tidy; wash work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweep and mop service areas, including floor mats.
• Ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist the bartender.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
