Barista
BASELINE is looking for two Beverage Specialists to join our very first team!
This is not a traditional "café" job. We’re a fast-moving, high-energy beverage concept focused on specialty Lotus drinks, great coffee, and even better customer interactions. There aren’t a lot of rigid processes yet, and that’s intentional. We’re building this thing in real time, and the people we hire now will help set the tone, the standard, and the vibe moving forward.
If you’re the kind of person who can walk into a room and instantly make people feel comfortable, this job is for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Greeting customers and taking orders with confidence and personality
- Making drip coffee, iced coffee, and our specialty Lotus drinks
- Working a POS system (card only, no cash handling)
- Opening and closing the location (setup, breakdown, prep)
- Keeping the space clean, stocked, and organized throughout the day
- Staying calm, friendly, and efficient during busy rushes
- Being comfortable appearing in light social content from time to time

Coffee experience is nice to have, not required. We’re happy to train the right person from scratch.

Compensation
This role has a base compensation of $18 per hour.
