DescriptionThis position offers an opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research on biomarkers for predicting cancer risk in an NCI-sponsored project. We are looking for a self-motivated biochemist or chemist who is excited about cancer research. Some experience in cell and molecular biology is preferred, but not required. This individual will perform independent research and work with intern students and should possess good communication skills.
Familiarity with chromatography and HPLC and DNA chemistry is a plus.
- Conduct research related to biomarkers for cancer risk prediction in an NCI-sponsored project.
- Perform independent experiments and collaborate with intern students.
- Communicate research findings effectively.
- Experience in biochemistry or chemistry is required or strongly preferred.
- Some experience in cell and molecular biology is preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with chromatography, HPLC, and DNA chemistry is a plus.
