Position: Research Analyst 1 - Opposition Research (Non-Exempt)

Overview

Join Nesbitt & Parrinello and make an impact on some of the most critical Democratic campaigns of the election cycle. As a Research Analyst 1, you'll be at the forefront of opposition research, working alongside a talented team dedicated to building a more progressive America. All opportunities are remote and employees are required to live and work in the United States.

This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position. Interviews will be held in February 2026 with an anticipated start date between February 16 and March 2, 2026.

What You'll Do
  • Conducting thorough research using boolean search tools, public records databases, and professional research platforms
  • Fact-checking political statements and campaign materials with accuracy and speed
  • Writing clear, concise research summaries and bullets for campaign use
  • Collaborating with team members on vetting projects and research books
  • Managing multiple research tasks while meeting tight deadlines

  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to synthesize complex information
  • Comfort working in a diverse environment with people who have different experiences and backgrounds

  • Interest in politics, journalism, or investigative research
  • Digitally native and comfortable with web-based tools for research, communication, and project management
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends during peak campaign periods
