This full-time opportunity at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a salaried, day shift schedule in the Behavioral Health Unit.

We are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Nurse Manager

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the hospital’s Behavioral Health department, including overall delivery and quality of patient care. This manager will assist with developing and implementing performance initiatives, ensuring optimal patient safety outcomes, as well as state and regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing daily work activities, ensuring quality, productivity and efficiency while assisting in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives.

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors this April as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years. Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents.

It will help ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • DC RN license
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing
  • BLS
  • Certified in area of specialty preferred
