Travel RN - Emergency Dept - Pediatric ED

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Emergency Department night shift position in Washington, DC, requiring a DC RN license and recent pediatric ED experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Pediatric Emergency Department of a hospital setting,

• Provides care for infants, children, and young adults in urgent medical situations,

• 3x12 hour night shifts per week,

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted,

Job Requirements

• Active DC RN license required at the time of consideration,

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program,

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI (AHA only),

• At least two years of hospital pediatric emergency nursing experience in the US required,

• Recent hands-on experience with pediatric patient populations required,

• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills,

• References from two recent managers or supervisors must be provided,

• Must have a US Social Security Number,
