Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Location:
Washington, DC 20032
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Schedule:
3×12-Hour Mid Shifts
Pay Range: $71.00 – $80.00/hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast‑paced, high‑acuity Emergency Department. This unit treats a full spectrum of patients, including urgent care cases, pediatrics, psychiatric patients, and critical care/trauma cases.
ER nurses in this department are expected to manage advanced critical care interventions such as:
- Medication titrations
- Arterial line management
- Massive blood transfusion protocols
- Chest tube care
The RN will deliver and coordinate care for patients with complex needs while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient experience.
Requirements- Active RN License in the state/district of practice
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- ER Nursing
Experience:
Minimum 1 year - Education:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
- Provide rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization for patients with emergent conditions
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress
- Perform and assist with complex procedures and critical care interventions
