General Summary of Position
The C53 Neurology Medicine & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a 14-bed, all private room neurosciences specialty unit at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital, a five-time designated Magnet Hospital. C53 nurses work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered, specialty care to neurological patients, postoperative neurosurgical patients with brain and spine disorders and general medicine patients, as well as specialized epilepsy monitoring patients.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- At least one year of RN Experience required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
This position has a hiring range of $41.77 - $63.30
