Responsibilities
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is the first new full‑service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years. The hospital integrates clinical care with community providers, federally qualified health centers, The George Washington University Hospital, and an urgent care center in Ward 8. The 136‑bed facility can expand to 184 beds and includes a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion, a 500‑car garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.
The position is for an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse (Full Time – Nights). The RN will provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards. Responsibilities include rapid assessment and stabilization of patients with urgent or life‑threatening conditions in the Emergency Department, initial triage, immediate care, vital sign monitoring, and collaboration with providers to develop treatment plans while providing compassionate support to patients and families.
The RN will support the healthcare team in a fast‑paced environment, using patient‑centered concepts as a foundation for all nursing care and demonstrating service excellence at all times.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
- BLS, ACLS and PALS required
- DC RN license required
- Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting
- TNCC within first year of employment
