Nursing Students! Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your critical thinking and fundamental skills? Come join us at Med Star Washington Hospital Center for our Summer 2026 Student Nurse Extern Cohort!
The Nurse Extern Summer 2026 Cohort will begin in June 2026 and will run for 8 weeks. You will be working 36 to 40 hours per week. After successful completion of the cohort, you may be invited to remain on staff, in a flexible position, leading up to graduation.
EducationQualifications for position:
- Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing program and in good standing.
- Currently in or entering final year (12 months) of nursing program.
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals.
None
Certification/Registration/LicensureCurrent Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required.
CompensationThis position has a hiring range of USD $20.12 - USD $20.12 /Hr.
