Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and oversight to facility management and line staff.
  • Ensure systems maintain efficient operation to safely meet residents’ needs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications
  • Previous Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Consulting experience for a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Understanding of CMS regulations and experience with the survey process.
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Ability to travel to assignments.
  • Ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits in clinical, management, and personal development.
  • Working knowledge of infection control principles.
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for quality care.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Decision‑making and analytical skills.
  • Positive, collaborative interaction with employees, residents, family, and external agencies.
